• Sync file shares onto the on-premise servers

Sync agent

• The machines need the sync agent in order to sync file shares from Azure
• The sync agent automatically register itself in the storage sync service as a registered server

Sync group

• Sync group to add a SA to be sync
• With the sync group in place a cloud endpoint, which is the SA
• One must match a cloud endpoint with a registered server
