• Get information about a specific NIC
• The NIC is showed in the ip a command

NIC information

• Supported link modes: 10baseT, 100baseT, 1000baseT
• Speed: 1000Mb/s
• Duplex: Full/Half
• Link detected: yes/no, up/down

NIC bonding

• Aggregation or combination or multiple NIC into a single bond interface. It's a network bonding
• Team is now the newer solution for bonding. Bonding is deprecated
• Provide high availability and redundancy (if one dies, the other can provide info)
• Example: bond NIC enp0s3 and enp0s8

modprobe bonding # Add bonding module
modinfo bonding # Info about bonding module
